Iris, the principal of Iris A. Brown Design, has been a creative for most of her life. She graduated with honors from Tyler School of Art, leaving with both illustration and design portfolios. Settling in New York City over 20 years ago, she amassed rich experience partnering with brilliant illustrators, photographers and designers to produce award-winning work for her clients.
New York's cultural treasures and vibrant theater scene are a constant inspiration to her work as well as the rural back roads of the Catskill Mountains where she tends her flower and vegetable gardens.
Iris launched IABD in 2000 after a long tenure as associate partner with the Bernhardt Fudyma Design Group. Since then her firm has been tackling a range of media, developing and designing fundraising materials, posters, marketing and collateral, ad campaigns, web sites and complete brands. IABD's clients include some of New York's most vital non-profit cultural organizations, wine importers, publishers, film makers, educational organizations, textile manufacturers and many others.
